Am going to be replacing the door lock covers (bezels) with some new ones. I've got the lock cylinders out, but am unsure of how these are held on. Are they just a press fit or do they need to be pried off & new ones crimped on to stay in place?
Just wondering if anyone can help me on this project.

thanks

dave

The stock ones are crimped all the way around the perimeter. Those will have to be ripped off.

Those you show in the picture have small little bend tabs you lay over. You need to get the center piece with the little flap door and gaskets too.

Thanks Earl,

I've got em installed now & even had the new flapper doors so the lock assemblies look good as new!
I had to destroy the factory bezel preying it off to remove it as it was crimped on. Installed the new flapper door & bezel & gaskets....... (punched the tabs down to secure it) .
I've only had these since 2007 & only finally got around to installing them today, along with some new dew sweeps (window felts). :D
