I saw another thread about door handles being flat black I was wondering are the door locks suposto match the handles or are they gloss black?

More of a satin black finish like the trim on the dew sweeps, drip rails etc.
one of the vendors sells replacement covers for the cylinders pretty cheap

Well after reading the other post about the handles I figured I'd freshen mine up then notices the locks were painted gloss black like the body of the car so I think I'm going to pull them out and pain them to match the handles thanks for your help guys
