Downpipe bolt's

when replaceing the stock down pipe, to a 3 inch, the stock bolts with the springs will not fit.

do you need the springs ?

can you just use shorter bolts ?

get new bolts. If the DP was new, the should have came with them. no springs either.

the springs are needed to allow the exhaust to move slightly but stay sealed at the connection on the donut gasket.

well i guess the million dollar ? is are you using a stock elbow with a 3" dp???

but i did take it off and port the inside.
