Anyone out there had trouble with there 3" downpipe resting on the air box and damaging it. How did you fix it? Any suggestions?

mark where it hits... Take it off an heat up the area. Then take a large socket an wack it with a hammer.. very easy to do.

I had the face of the D/P milled down ~ 1/4". The D/P flange doesn't need to be as thick
to function properly and it certainly worked for me. I t cleared the heater box just fine.
I also had the post on the waste gate cut off a little bit so it clears the hood pad.
We shouldn't have to modify a part made for our cars which doesn't fit right, but
I sure was glad to get what I hade to start with! Good luck.

What downpipe was the issue? My 3" gbody parts one is hitting my ac box.

ATR instructions said to loosen the engine mounts to gain clearance for their pipe.
Also:
**DP mt holes can be elongated to allow for adjustment. Be sure to check w/g puck coverage, if you do this.
**Body mounts being toast will drop the body down. {I just did mts on mine, and found that B4 the change, I could not put my hand in between the frame and body. NP now}.:smug:
**Trans mt can raise the rear of the engine and cause the issue.
** Turbo being "twisted" on the manifold will raise the pipe.
