I was trying to install the downshift cable into the trans and I hooked the metal wire on to the cable and when I went to put it in the hole I realized the seal was ripped so I ordered a new one. With the new seal in hand Im trying to put it back in and when I go to bolt it on the bolt tightens up but the other side of the cable isnt near the trans case. Im wondering is their a special hold down or bolt that im missing??? If that dosent make sense let me know and Ill get some pictures.

Well this thread can become a learning thread for others. The trick is to put the seal in the trans first then push the cable into it getting it started. Once its started you can tighten the bolt and it pulls everything together...Thanks for letting me know though, when ever I have a bolt question you ar always the first to help HAHA
