I will be replacing my lower control arms with metco's and notice my rear shocks are the original ones from GM. What rear shocks are you low 12, high 11 guys running? I dont want to waste $$ on 50/50 drag shocks if plain 'ol Sears HD replacements will do! Thanks

Have you tried air bags yet? I just had some good luck with that and stock suspension on the T, see sig. The GN does not have air bags and has rear bilsteins and var rate springs, stock front with braces. Also if you want a street car mainly, then I would imagine the drag shocks would possibly change the ride.? Someone with drag shocks can comment.

I use KYB's all the way around and my car handles well and 60's very well. Best of 1.55 and I've had plenty of 60's from 1.59 thru low 1.6's.

I run 50/50 lakewoods, ride is smooth. You said "waste money", drag shocks are cheap, at least rears. Our cars don't really need them, I just wanted max dragstrip potential.

I have the C-E adjustable drag shocks on my car, I think the'll help more when I get faster (mid 12's capability now), although they are probably helping a little now. Like turbosam6, I just wanted to maximize dragstrip potential.

As for the ride, as long as you set the rears at 50/50 and the fronts at 70/30 or 50/50 you should be OK for the street. Mine seemed to ride hard at first, but it's almost as they 'broke in', because it got softer after a few miles. Both rear airbags are at 5psi for street driving.

My fronts are set at 90/10 right now, and with no front swaybar and skinnies on the front is handles like a wet sponge. I wouldn't advise my current setup to anybody for street driving. It's not like the car scrapes the rocker panels under corners, but it is definitely a wallowy ride. Think mid-70's Cadillac. Bumps and undulations in the road make the front end floaty. But with the swaybar on, and at 70/30, it handles OK, even with the skinnies. Just don't expect to go corner carving. :)
