I've ran a few cars down 1/8 and 1/4 mile tracks but only for test and tune to play around and get some time slips for the memorabilia.

Ok ... Here comes dumb noob questions:

What are the abreviations such as TSM, TSO, THS ect.
In recent discussions I've seen TAI go by and have no idea what any of these are?

Anyone got a quick down and dirty file or could take a minute for a quick overview.

Thanks

Greg U.

TSO, 7-8 sec cars
TSM, high 8 to mid 9 sec cars
THS, high 9 to high 10 sec cars
TAI alky and pump 93, less rules and run high 9's to high 10's. A THS car can easily run TAI if they fit the rules, many have run both classes, but you gotta hot lap it in elims.

Now where will they run these? Is for BPG Nationals type events or does the NHRA run these classes regularly? I cant see there being these classes every weekend at Lebanon Valley up near me ... the same two guys would be racing every time.

no NHRA ...the classes are run at buick national events like bowling green /bpg/ tb nats/ reynolds and others
