I need to drill in an area that has limited access.
My Drill cannot fit in the space to be close enough.

For the experts:

Do they make a long fluted bits?
or deep bits. What would thay be called?

Or some type of extention rod that would go between drill & bit?

How far in do you have to reach to drill?
There's all sorts of long drills and adaptors to drill deep holes.
What kinda of material you drilling?

ijames: I agree McMaster-Carr is the best source for anything you need and many things you do not even know you need.

I use them at work and for my home also.

They are also the most profesional people on the phone that I have ever delt with.

Other items for Buicks which they carry:

(a) Constant Torque Hose Clamps
(b) Check valves for boost control
(c) C-clip installation tool

and any thing else you can think of.

Not only that, they have the best catalog web site I've ever used. You can drill down from the home page table of contents, do searches that work, or put in a catalog page number in the search field and start browsing through images of the catalog. Other companies do one or the other, but no one else does both so well. We order from them anywhere from once to five times a week. Get the order faxed in by 3 pm or do it online by 5 or 5:30 and ups is handing you the stuff the next morning (we are in MD and they have a warehouse in NJ). You can find better prices elsewhere (but not by much), and they don't give volume discounts (I asked for a quote on 1500 hinges once and they gave me the same price as the catalog has for one :)), but you can't beat their service.

Thanks Guys!

I need to drill up underneath my Daily driver's bumper.
I probably need about 3" ( hey we all could use that. LOL!)

The area is the actuall metal behind the bumpershield.
