Drive shaft advice

Debating between aluminum and chromoly. The aluminum says it's good to 1000 which is way more than I'll ever have but I do have a transbrake, and I'm not sure if that figure takes that into consideration. Build is below but will be going to bigger turbo and fuel system in future.

I called kirbans and I called the company that makes the aluminum one for them. It won't hold on a trans brake. Can't get a response from Full throttle. Left messages and sent support messages on website. They all come with yoke

on my 87ttop i asked mike at full throttle about his alum but really not adequate ..
went with Strange 3.5" cmoly forged ends 1350 joints through summit (shaft only with ujoints) wasnt bad compared to dennys and lead time to get it wasnt as bad either , also did billet trans yoke from nascar((th400 ) and billet pinion yoke from quick perf for moser 9"

But I want to save weight, lol. And it seems like overkill. Even once I upgrade my turbo and fuel system to properly feed the stroker I'll never be near a 1000.

alum is also harder on the pinion and ring gear

want to loose some weight , do a CMoly cross member (iceman) and Cmoly driveshaft loop

Aluminum is brittle compared to steel so that does make sense. Ordering Chromoly now. Anyone make an aluminum drive shaft loop? LOL. Link for those crossmember?

I dont i would want an aluminum loop. AL doesnt have the tear / rip resistance steel has imop

Is the Full Throttle the one there was a group buy on a while back?

I bought one and was always curious if it would work with a trans brake.

I would think aluminum could contain a spinning shaft.

heres a look at the iceman xmember , i ordered it center mount for a th400 but they will do it for 2004r stock mount
