Ok so I plan in taking off the driver side header to have it welded any recommdations how often do the bolts break thanks

The bolts holding the header should come off with little to no resistance what so ever. They don't get torqued on there that much.
make sure when they weld the Header they mount it to a straight jig or an exsiting head.

Occasionally I've had the cross over tube flange bolts break, especially if they've never been removed before. I use anti-seize on them when re-installing. I also run a 10mmx1.5 tap through them (with tapping fluid or anti-seize).

Have a gusset placed between the 3 & 5 tubes.

What steel should I use to do that? Round bar or square? I need to get mine rewelded here soon too. I was told to get the Inconel type 82 welding rod so I've got a pound of that ready to go.

It was 3/16" steel with Mig.
