Drivers door handle replacement help

Guys, I am replacing my drivers door handle and while attempting to connect the rod and clip together, I managed to pull the rod out from the bottom and having a hard time figuring out how it goes back in at the bottom, is there any images of how that rod hooks on at the bottom ? Thanks for any ideas!!

Yea, I may have to take apart the other side maybe my best option.

To make things easier take to door surround rubber off at the top to the push pins.

So turns out the bottom of the rod drops into a hole and pushes down to open the door, and the top clips on. All thanks to my teenage daughter that come to my basement and ask where’s your roof ? Tee tops were out, but she was able to get the clip put on and insisted we finish everything now, so got all the panels back on and door handle is working and window motor works perfectly. Thanks to you guys that replied and to my daughter that’s is now ready to start on the passenger side !!!
