DS header cracked

I just found my driver side header has a 1 in. crack in it. Was wondering what anyone would suggest to repair it??? I thought about welding and wondered if that is a good idea.

Please give comments and/or suggestions.

Yes its is a very good idea to weld it!

Someone told me that you can repair a cracked header, but it has to be TIG welded w/ stainless wire.
