Piedmont Dragway is an 1/8 dragstrip .
I met a guy at the drags Sunday at Piedmont Dragway NC who trailered a G-body with a 3.8 Dual turbo Stage II motor. He ran a 5.8- 122mph 1/8 mile and cut a 1.19 60ft. That would put him up there in the 8's and 150's in the 1/4 mile. Awesome beast. He said he was running 14# boost but could run her up to 18lbs. It was also the motors first time out since it was built!!!
I don't want to even mention my times. I was running so lean (713 and 690 but with 0* KR at half track, I quit before I blew a head gasket. The fellow with the Dual turbo suggested that maybe my scan master wasn't reading right or I should have blown a gasket withan 02 that low at 25lbs boost.
Look Quick was there in his '87 GN and ran a new best of 7.4 something at 96 something with his TA61 turbo.
