Dub City teaching the youth about GNs

A guy in my car club gave me a Dub City Gn Kit he found at Wal-Mart. It was black and came with two sets of rims. I have to admit that it was okay looking despite the large rims and chrome bezels. They got most of it right. Anyways, I thought the students I teach would get a kick out of the car since most of them have seen mine. Well they went crazy! It was a hit and all of them couldn't believe it was a Buick.

One thing I did like about it was it came with a set of TTIIs with the center painted black and a polished outside rim. It looks very good on the car despite the large diameter. I bet a set of 17s like this would look killer!

i remember a while ago seeing something about they made a mistake on the box and they accidently put 1987 Chevy Buick. the boxes were recalled, and the problem was solved.

so, i picked on up one day, and set it on my shelf. then looking at it closer one day, i noticed where it said 1987 Buick Grand National looked a little funny. i ran my finger nail over it and felt a bump over it, sure enough it was a sticker, i peeled it off, and it said this:

Maybe you mean me...James corrupts them before I do!! I instruct the Navy SAMI course as a sand crab now.

i was asking bishir, cause my lil brain was addin 2+2 but i was wrong. not that teachin 8th grade is bad, i gotta lotta respect for that. i wish i had a cool a$$ teacher that raced a GN when i was in high school! as for SFIturbo, dang it!! im a sami instructor up here in great mistakes! if you ever find yerself up here in the cold, come by the RTC range and look me up, we can shoot then go to the titty bar

I thought those were the Johnny Lightenings that had the mistake of saying Chevy on it. I think I have some at home that say Chevy Grand National. People never learn.

James, I used to do the same thing and get the same reaction. The students always knew when I came back from lunch. Either from the exhaust, or from the music going. I even did a short rolling burnout for one of my students on my way home.
