Guys,

I was out with a friend testing out his turbo mustangs combination when I got a call from Dusty. It seem that he has the new boost controller working really well.
The track was not really there however he still managed a 5.53 @ 133.5 on radials with stock suspension. If I told you about the lazy 60 you would be even more impressed. Keep in mind this thing hits the scales at around 3500lbs.
I really hope that he and Chad can make Memphis and Orlando this year.

This is great news! I have yet to get one complaint about the boost controller. I can't wait to hear the details.

I'll give you a call today Cal. I didn't think you'd still be up.

The problem last week was the user  After a conversation with Cal we worked out what my problem areas were and first pass off the trailer was a new best at 5.69

So thanks go to Cal for spending the time with me to get this new controller worked out. I am more than pleased with it. The boost comes in so smooth and controllable that I was able to get down a cold track with very little traffic to keep the temps in it.

The whole night was spent working on ramp speed to get the 60's down. First pass was a 1.50 with the last being a 1.42 so I still have room to go but the car is really coming around.

Best pass of the night was 1.42....5.53....133.5 at 27# of boost.

Dusty,

When you talk to Cal tell him about our idea!

Congrats on yet another new best!

Good work Dusty!!!! :) It amazes me the progress you have made with this car in such a short period of time, obviously having Cal on your side is a big plus to your effort!

Thanks guys. It's been a combination of great tech support, careful planning and of course luck.

I can't say enough about Cal's tuning help and Dan Parker from Parker chassis with suspension help. It was these two guys that convinced me the boost control was necessary for the next step and it picked up two tenths. I am now able to keep the rear tires loaded and it works. Next problem may be wheelstands  At least we may get some video worth watching now that it's moving before 200 feet :D
