I'am taking the GN to a Dyno shoot out tonight in Hampton, VA. I know I's not going to win or anything but care to take A guess on what she's going to do? It's only $25 bucks so what the hell.

My combo: PTE t63e,V2 FM,83's,fel pro, P&P heads,210/210 billet roller,hemco& 65 mm tb, Art Carr 3500 N/L,

Is everything tuned right? How much boost are you going to push on the dyno? o2's and knock within range? I'd say atleast 415 at the rear wheels if everyhing is correct...good luck to ya!!

:o Boost! sorry, About 26lbs.

I've been told by someone that knows a LOT more than me the tune on the fel pro looks pretty good:) .

I would say she weighs nearly 3700lbs with me in it.

The 10.89@125.9 was about 25lbs and she went into OD by accident too.

Thanks

Okay well lets just say she weighs 3690lbs with you in it...... The good ol' HP calculator http://home.neo.rr.com/jturrin/calchp1.htm says you are making 564 HP at rear wheels based on ET, 574 HP at rear wheels based on MPH, 569 HP at rear wheels based on average of ET & MPH, and 640 Approx Engine HP (Aver. rear wheel HP * 1.125)... Depending on how much your car actually weighs these numbers might be higher or lower (if your car is heavier than 3690lbs it obviously would take more power to run that ET and MPH and if it's lighter than 3690lbs it would obviously take less HP to run that ET and MPH)...... Based on what this HP calculator says I'll guess around 550rwhp:cool:

550 I'd be very happy with that, maybe 600 tq:D too.

There's going to be a turbo honda civic there that puts down
570+!

Bet he doesn't get me on the tq#'s:D

I'm guessing it should be around 565. Hopefully it stays in "D" and not downshift. I want to know too. If I didn't have to be somewhere tomorrow morning, I'd go tonight...just to make sure that it got up to the 570+ Honda, plus...1! :o That would be fun!

Good luck man, my guess is 534 hp and 611 torque. Hope I'm not too far off:D

554 hp and 595 tq. Don't ask me why or how I got those #'s, I pulled them out of my arse. Good luck!

Depending on the type of Dyno it is, it may not provide enough load to bring on full boost... i'll guess 508 rwhp & 597 trq.

Good point Sully....... If it's a Mustang dyno you'll probably see lower #'s!

:( Well to start off, I hurt something on the dyno:( , I don't know if it's the tranny or the converter?, acts like it's low on fluid now or it has a huge stall converter 5000+, acts the same way in all gears too.
Once it's in OD it's ok as long as I don't give her too much petal.
Fluid doesn't look burnt and I'am dropping the pan today to see if there's any metal in the pan.

The dyno was a mustang dyno.
results: 451hp@100.0 mph (they were not using engine rpm but roller speed:confused: ) 968ftlbs tq:confused:  at 72 mph which I know is BS I agree with them it was converter flash but.... at 121mph it still showed 600ftlbs  this is like at 5800 rpms.

After that pull they said they needed to add air to the tires because they maybe touching the dyno brake between the rollers.
I then did a 1/4 pass on the dyno since the #'s looked hoosed.

Couldn't build hardly any boost on the dyno and she spun second BAD and smoked out the shop:D was like a 11.89@123.xxmph
boost was a little off bout 24psi. rpm's were high for that mph bout 6000, by felpro

They then changed something? on the dyno to help with the traction.

I set the E-brake an got about 5psi stabbed and released
TERRIBLE wheel hop and boost was only bout 22psi readings said 11.41@122.xx rpm's about 6100(starting to worry)

a super charged 03 cobra put down 356 hp and like 525ftlbs
and ran a 12.70 and a supercharged 02 GT put down 290hp an a low 13 quarter mile run too.

I hope it's the converter and not the tranny.:(

i can put that down with my old te-44 turbo/50's combo with a bone stock motor...this guy here should be putting down at LEAST 500 hp to the wheels and 650 tq

:( Yea something is not right, and besides the tranny/converter problem the A/F raito was around 10.0:confused:

I made no changes since maryland when I went 10.89 at 125.9 and I drove the 100+ miles to my home and 100 miles to the dyno and everything seemed good, even destroyed a pesky import on my way to the dyno:D

Oh well s@*t happens:(
