They are the Walker Dynomax Welded Ultra Flo Race Magnums ( heck of a long name for a muffler, huh? lol )

Do you have a part number for this mufflers donnie, seems like they are a lot of part numbers for this particular muffler and i am just trying to get the right one, which one is the One you got on your car, a part # would be greatly appreciated.. thanks :)

Sure, here's the part number. From Jegs is is 289-
17221 and from Summit it is WLK-17221. They are 3" and offset in/ center out. HTH

Donnie, AWESOME job man! Your really kickin ass with that new MAFT Pro. Gonna have a good time in BG this year.....

I'm impressed

Whenever I broke a planetary gear or converter in my drag car it created a mixed emotion.....it's a pain but good to know you're making some steam. I'd wear that one like a badge of honor.

Thanks Bud!! BG is gonna be a blast! I can't wait!

I gathered some courage to get underneath the car today and the tranny and pinion yolks are just fine, gonna have to get some new straps for the rear yolk though. Also, I didn't mention this but neither U-joint broke! I was using the Brute Force joints. They held up great.

You might want to take a closer look at the bellhousing, I twisted a driveshaft the same way you did and put a big crack in the bellhousing. Its pretty hard to see... I would loosen the tranny mount, pull the tranny side to side holding a work light under the torque converter and see if their is any light passing throught the housing. Hope yours is okay. BTW Sick numbers.....

Great numbers, Donnie! FYI the calculator says your 10.87 (assuming 3500 lbs going down the track) needed 535 average rwhp, and 606 rwhp would let you run a 10.4.

I need to weigh the car with me in it. I've always just guessed that it would be @ 3700 with me aboard, but I really need to get in on the scales. that 10.87 really could've been alot lower if I could've had a decent 60' ( was a 1.64 ) It should be in the high 1.4x's once it gets hooked. Then I didn't have the fueling in the TPro just right and a few other small things but I belive that once everything is lined out and can put that 606 to the ground, it'll run some real low 10's.

Nice:)

Donnie,

I take it this was with the engine that Estes did the machine work on? I live around Lexington and work in Harrodsburg now, I've got the Moates burner setup, so if you need any other tweaks to the chip, I'd be happy to stop by and burn a few. I have a chip switcher and a ZIF socket (Moates) w EEProms that I can choose any of eight images at the press of a button.

Nice video, I know alot of guys that went out that night and only two drove home (Broken trannys for the DSM cars).

Yeah that's the motor. They did a very nice job on the machine work. I put it together in my garage and everything went together perfectly.

I appreciate the offer about chip tweaking. But since I run the Translator Pro it can change things in it, like a DFI. Thanks though! :) Hey, where in Lexington are you? We need to get the local Buick guys together sometime!!

Our combinations are almost the same. I'm looking forward to putting down those kind of numbers when I get my new combo together and complete. Congrats!

Sorry about the drive shaft. Looks exactly like the ones my car tossed out. Except my car broke two before I upgraded to an aluminum shaft. I even twisted the yoke on the aluminum shaft so I ordered a carbon fiber unit with 1350 yokes at both ends.

I was just wondering at what rpm you made that 700+tq #? Or a pic would be cool. Thanks..Danny
