I've got an orange and a yellow wire coming from the 'weld in' probe.

Which one goes to the terminal marked pos.?

Does it matter?

I just hooked up my EGT backwards the other day. It didn't hurt anything; it just showed my temperatures as negative values.

Exactly. Hooking up backwards didn't hurt anything on my setup either and gave the negative reading as well.

Switched the wires, all is good.
