can someone please give me a rough idea of what this motor combo would be capable in the quarter mile with good traction? My mods are (and will be): ATR 208/201 cam, home ported heads and intake, kenne bell 93 octane ultimate chip, poston headers and crossover pipe, TA-33 turbo, upgraded walbro 307 or 340 fuel pump and hotwire kit, kenne bell "ram air" ( large filter and scoop under bumper), also, how much could i gain by eventually adding a spearco intercooler? any insights would be greatly appreciated as always.

With good traction and TUNING, YES. With better gas, definately YES. With the intercooler look for 12's.
Heck if by good traction you mean slicks and your talking about pulling mid 1sec~ 60 foots, with good tuning and no kr (might find you need better gas.....or alky) then you could be on the verge of 12's without the intercooler.

with a ta 33 stock long block except a 200-200 cam, 2800 stall, poston headers and 2 1/2 downpipe and 42lbers on street chip w/110 gas I ran 13.312 @ 104mph on street tires w/ a 2.20 60 ft. with traction and maybe a good 1.7 60 ft thats a good 12.60-12.80 run.

Did you ever run that combo on pump gas? If so what results?
Maybe race gas is the missing factor that makes all the difference, but with my mods in sig below, without the alky, on street tires and pump gas the best Ive been able to reach is 14.1@96.7. That was with 13degrees of kr and spinning through the 60 (2.28). Tuning has been so difficult with this combo for some reason. Its so much easier on my brothers' 86 and 87.

6 Sense I never ran it on strait pump gas but I did get one in 93/ xylene mix and got 13.80@ 97mph. You can make these cars run it just takes a little patience. Unfortunately these vehicles are much less forgiving than our intercooled brothers and therefore it may require for you to make smaller adjustments and much practice to get it right. I got lucky and found my sweet spot and now I'm working from there. Sure it would be easy to bolt an intercooler on it and run some good numbers right of the bat , but like I said with the cooler charge temps theres more room for error and still get good times on an intercooled set up. I'm no expert but there are many vets on this board that will tell you that you can make it run. Check out this months issue of hot rod magazine 600lbs ft of torque w/ no intercooler, now that gives me hope.
