I am now changing to e85 due to cost of race fuel ad not wanting to spray Alky
Car is running 9.50 to 9.70
It is for sale but non negotiable so may end up having it for awhile

Has 96 lb injectors and aluminum fuel cell and champion aluminum fuel rails neither is anodized

My fuel pump is external and unfortunately no able to handle e85

What size injectors and pump are needed for 9.50 a looking for street driving and a pump that will fit under bumper?
Do the fuel rails and cell have to be replaced or anodized?

Thx

What kind of fuel lines r u running @ the moment & pumps?

10 AN braided or maybe 12 an lines there ( I will have to check but the lines are so big people poke fun at it) and a 1100a inline Weldon
It's maxed out and I need a new pump anyways but it and Weldon says it falls apart with e85

I have a new set of 225 injectors for my mustang from precision but assume those way too big?

I just didn't wanna replace entire fuel system at once

I was running 93 street and 116 track

120'S will get you there, but I like to be safe and have some room to play. Go for 160s..... Piece of mind and reassurance....

For me 160's r tapped out already. Need 220's now.

Gabby, What are your times and MPH? Manny Espino has 235# and runs in the 7s....... But then again, Cal tuned his car.

So far i still have a little room, 9.3's @ 144. Hopefully this weekend i'll b going a little faster then 5.9's in the 1/8th on motor again b4 i spray it which i rarely do lol. Btw Manny & i go way back to our street racing days. Very good friend of mines here.

If you have already upgraded to Bigger lines, those should be able to handle the E85. from all the research I have done, looks like older cars have problems with melting rubber. I guess it turned into myth? Many people not having any problems with the SS braided lines.

Are your fuel rails anodized?
Mine are not nor is my fuel cell which is aluminum

Any issues with e85 corroding aluminum?

Regular gas is corrosive too. There are many gimmicks to try extracting money from your pocket. Your aluminum stuff should be fine. Now, I say all this if it were my car, so it's really up to you. Some people would disagree, but to each his own.

My fuel rails r from Champion & they don't have any coating & they been on my car for a few yrs on E85 & i've seen nothing go wrong lol

I went 145mph with id2000 injectors @48% on E98 @15psi boost. id2000 injectors have great idle control ive found while having huge flow. I use a methanol additive in ours to help stop the corrosion. Ive noticed cast heads will start to rust on the inlet runners and fuel lines and regulator will get a white chalk like coating on the inside. I havnt had the additive in long so im waiting a little to see if it helps or not.
