Earlier this week it started out with sleet then freezing rain & snow, the freezing rain caused tree's and power lines to fall causing over 60,000 people without power all while the temperatures are 20 - -15 with the windchill ... So please excuse us for not replying as promptly as we normally do and for outgoing orders being delayed!

Good luck down there. We've had our share of crappy weather. We know what it's like.

Think how the guys in the NE feel. Boston has been slaughtered and I've tried calling a few guys up there to check on them but it's a no go right now.:( Hope all of you stay safe but the guys further north are the ones really suffering.

Even the most hardy of us are getting tired of this winter. I'd still take this over a tornado!

We are blessed in the Midwest comparatively. The amount of snow in Boston is crazy. Co-worker lives there and he says the piles next to his driveway from his snowblower are taller than him. I thought we had it bad last year, not even close. It's darn cold this week and next though around here. Darn hedgehog.

I guess you forgot to call me :(
It's frigging freezing cold up here in CT and literally snowing or flurrYing 3 days a week at least. It's single digits here before the wind chill it's negative numbers.

They did a lot of tree trimming the last couple years around here because like 3-4 years ago we had a October snow storm and we still had the leaves on the trees which held extra snow which took down trees and wires everywhere and we lost power for like 10 days to 2 weeks in places

I am originally from Wisconsin so I'm used to a bunch of snow! A bunch of snow is one thing but when you have over a 1/4" of freezing ice on everything things get bad real fast! And to top it all off we have another front coming in this evening with more snow and then freezing ice into tomorrow....
What sucks here in the south is the majority of the heating systems, they use what's called a "Heat Pump" which is electric. They originated in FL but with these temps right now they are worthless. So far over 10 weather related deaths and still around 5,000 without power...

The gas company just came today and installed a meter and hooked up our gas heater in the basement so with that and our wood fireplace we will stay warm...

Yes, and also being from WI, when I moved here and had this house built, I said NO HEAT PUMP. Regular HVAC, gas furnace, gas water heater, gas stove, gas fireplace!!!! NO WELL, so I also have water during blackouts.

12 days here. I had a blast because it brought me back to the days of winter camping, just with a better shelter :)

I hate heat pumps, have 25 of them at the nursing home day job and always have a least one down for various issues at any time. Here in CT near the shoreline we got our share of snow but the cold temps are the killer right now. Some rain forecast for Sunday but actually hope it is snow. Don't need rain on top of the snow.

We're seeing many fatal fires, most from chimney fires. Keep an eye on them.
