I'd like to hear from people using an Eastern front mount IC. How well do people like them? How do they compare to the other IC's out there? TIA

good back in the day but it requires drilling holes in the core support. The Precision is a bolt in.

I use one and like it. Went 11.38 in the 1/4 with a stock long block and GT3255. The core is as thick as a precision, about as tall, not quite as wide if I remember right. It uses 2.5" piping instead of 3" which can possibly be helpful in keeping turbo lag away in a front mount.

Andre Ellis (board member) went 10.60's with one on a T-Type.... 23 psi boost and a TE45-A turbo.....

They are good for a good mid 10sec car and good on the street. I know where a couple used ones are for sale if intrested....

I picked up one and was trying to decide weather to use it
Sounds like it might be a option
Anybody have directions,pictures?

Call esp they will send the directions to ya free. Did for me at least. Its a booger to put in by your self.

I have one on the 87 and like it. Way beter than stock IMO, picked mine up off of ebay for a frekin steal.

Psi comes on way faster than stock. Had to modfy the piping on mine to clear the RC fans. ESP said that I must have a older design as the new ones have a slightly different bend for more clearance.

I will call them thanks
This I sure is a older one. I have a stock fan (High fan only) so clearance should be fine.
Bowling Green stretch on the car now
Wasn't sure if cooling was going to be a issue with the front mount

I have an older one and it works great. Call John at 1-610-970-8944 and he
will help you with in stall.

People say whtever but a IC out of the engine bay. Will do its job waaaaay better

Sound like it will work excellent with my new 6776RH THB5-76
Has the .85 A/R
Only thing is 2.5" pipes and 3" outlet on the turbo
Guess I'll have to use a 2.5"-3" reducer hose
Percision 3200-3500 converter going in also

I had one on my first buick that went 8.0s in the 1/8 with pump gas and 17 pounds of boost with a 1.80 60ft.I had no lag on the but it was a small TE44 turbo
610-970-8944 here is their number.
