I'm sure most of you know, on the stock GN rims it seems the paint they used from the factory was not all that good and most times not even put on well. It always chips off and I've seen some NOS rims I wasn't crazy over how they looked as well. I picked up some of Eastwood's satin black wheel paint. and I like it allot. Eastwood stuff is first class all the way. It goes on nice and came out really good. I did about 5 coats so it should hold up!
Taping off the rim is the only part that sucks! I found I just masked off the entire rim. Then with a fresh razor blade went around and cut out all the black area's and cut out the center part of the rim. Worked out good. The nice part is the Eastwood paint dries so fast! You can get 3 to 4 coats in within 12 hours with no problem. Here is some pics with and without a flash so you can see how it really looks! :applaus:
