Eaton posi units

hey guys i just need a quick question answered.

i am looking at this eaton posi track unit and i am soon to purchase it

basically i need to know what Spline I need, i have the stock axles and 342 ring and pinion on a 85 national ( 10 bolt 8.5 inch)

do i need the 28 or 30 spline with a stock setup

28...THE AUBURN COSTS LESS AND SHOULD BE JUST AS GOOD.

The 28 spline is stock.

The Auburn is not readily rebuildable and will ultimately cost more. It also is not as durable as the Eaton. I have a blown out Auburn in one of my cars at the moment.
