I been using eBay for almost 10 years, most of my previous experience has been good with buying used car parts, but over the last year I have noticed a huge decline across the board.
People are more dishonest than ever, don't want to answer questions, don't reply to emails, won't take a picture... BUT they are quick to take your money! They want paid asap, but they will take 3 weeks to ship your part unprotected with poor packing.
When I ship an item, especially a costly item, or a fragile item... I pack it up so it arrives they way it left. That is how I would want to receive an item that I purchased. THIS is how you pack an item to be shipped...

I have people sending me stuff in empty boxes, maybe their junk mail thrown in, or one sheet of newspaper. Are you kidding me? Are they that brain dead to think it will actually protect the item? People are morons or just don't care.
The best part is, lets say you buy something and got screwed. You paid with PayPal. You want to file a claim and return the item. PayPal will instruct you to return the item for your refund, but not the full amount. They tell you how much of a percentage they will refund, BUT NOT UNTILL AFTER you ship the item. So basically the guy who ripped you off gets your money, your time, gets the part back so he can resell it to somebody else... and your waiting for PayPal to tell you how much of your money will be refunded a month later for your troubles.
Here are some people I would avoid doing business with...
58bowtie = Uses the same used parts picture in multiple auctions. So the parts you see are NOT the parts you get. When you ask for a picture of the actual item, he tells you they are all the same. Last time I checked, no two parts that are 20 years old are the same.
rivkah2006 = Doesn't mention the bad stuff, uses washed-out photography to hide the bad stuff, takes 3 weeks to ship, ignores emails, won't accept refund to make it right, continues to harass you via email after the fact because he has nothing better to do I guess.
lilchris1268 = A decade of eBay'ing this guy takes the cake. After winning my auction, the guy emails me 24 hours later and says..."i have decided not to buy, i found another one a whole lot cheaper."
There is more, but I think I'm done for now. Break for lunch.
