I sold my 86 GN on ebay. Never heard from the high bidder. So I contacted Ebay and they "opened an investigation".......what does that mean?

It means "Were sorry somebody has screwed you over but were not going to do anything about it because we dont care. have a nice day." Ebay is great until you get screwed over, then you se their true color's.

Like the above statement states. Nothing will be done. How much feedback did they high bidder have?
I've canceled bids in the past if they have below 10 positive feedback or suspicious negative feedback.

When you re list it, add to you description that anyone with less than 20 positive feedback must contact you first before bidding or they will be canceled.
They bid anyways. You then cancel the bid and block them from bidding.

Sometime I just block them so they can't bid anymore. When you cancel their bids, if there was another ebayer they were doing battle with, the bid will be reset to the price when they first started battling.

just a few things i can think of.

She had around 100 score, and it was 100% . I was thinking if I relist it I will put her name/email in the description and tell people not to sell to her. Will also give her negative feedback of course. Here is her info:

Andrea Barry
81 Duke Rd
Oswego, NY 13126-5883

What was her user ID?
Don't put her name in the description. She'll file a complaint and douchebay will cancel you're auction and the broad will be all happy having f'ed you twice.

Feel free to mail her a present though.

Just got this from her today. Don't know what to make of it. Dear illinidude,

Hello to whom it may concern. I won the bid on the grand national.i am sorry for the delay. The day after I won my so was in an awful car accident, in which he has been in ICU. He just got moved to another room thank god. My son does not have insurance, therefor I will have to pay the hospital bills. I regret to say I will not be able to afford the car. I am truly sorry about this

Man. I sure hope her son was in an awful car accident and in the ICU for her sake!

Yeah, she missed out on a nice car. Oh well I guess I will have to relist it.

I don't do Facebook but does she mention her son in an accident?

IF it's the same broad, she has her page mostly blocked, BUT the pics that are open are mostly of her partying. Can't see much for wall posts either. So no mention of car accident either.

It's just a big fukcing lie. Same as the CL scammers who are offshore heartsurgeons who have a flight to Pluto booked on the next cruiseship & will sent their driver to pick up the item. Cut your losses & relist.

Have you tried RacingJunk?

OH, and she looks about 21-25 yrs old.

When I googled her name in Oswego, a doctor with her name comes up. I do have an ebay question- if I close the auction due to a non paying bidder can I still leave negative feedback? Ebay sends you around in circles but there apparently is no way to contact Ebay with a question directed to a live person. Thanks for looking into this Catman and others.

Sellers can no longer leave negative feedback.
So now, she can do this shit over and over and she will always have 100% feedback.
But she can leave you a negative.
Imagine that.
