ECM or chip or ????

Haveing a little trouble, often when I get on the gas my ECM will reset itself. I thought it might have been the motor twisting over and hitting the hot wire but its not or aleast I cant see where.Nothing has been changed could this be the chip has a problem or would it be in the ECM itself?

any ideas. I know its reseting the scanmaster loses its call back and the anti theft comes back on, on the extender chip.

It could be the battery cable, if it is the service light will flash when it happens.
Where are you seeing the reset? On some scan tool, or...?

Its reseting because the car dies then even if I have the anti-theft in convenience mode I have to go through the disarm again to get it to start.

That sounds like the power feed to the ecm
