Haveing a little trouble, often when I get on the gas my ECM will reset itself. I thought it might have been the motor twisting over and hitting the hot wire but its not or aleast I cant see where.Nothing has been changed could this be the chip has a problem or would it be in the ECM itself?

any ideas. I know its reseting the scanmaster loses its call back and the anti theft comes back on, on the extender chip.

It would be a one in a billion chance that the chip or ecm would be doing that. Any poor connection between the orange wire off the battery to ecm, or any poor connection from the battery to the ignition switch, to the pink/black wire at the ecm, plus a bad ground can do that. Check the grounds on the back of the head, and work from there.

well one in a billion is about my luck, but I will start going over all those connections starting with the grounds and get back to ya.

Thanks
