edash com error

installed my flex fuel sensor and Edash today. Edash starts and flashes a message "com error" check connection and power. i tapped into the stock harness (pink and black wire) for the 12v switched power. is there a setting in the XFI i need to check.

by the way, i filled up using about 7 gallons of 93 octane and dropped the boost to about 15psi. car ran flawlessly.

What version XFI are you using?

I get the same message at times, running version 2.05. I think my issue may be the connector from the E-dash to the harness.

do you have your laptop hooked up at the same time? that's when I get the error myself.

I get the error constantly. With or without the computer hooked up. I even drove the car with the Edash hooked up for 2 hours. Still never connected

There are some settings in the main screen for the communications.. I'm not sure what effect they have on this, but I remember checking them on.
