I bought one of the first ones out for my TT 66 suburban. Basic bolt on. I Used an accel Gen VII with it. cheaper than a wilson intake for sure.

Very nice . what turbos are those , and are the fuel rails Edelbrock as well ? post more under the hood pics if you have them . just like to see how you did everything . :)

Im wondering if this intake flows more than a Victor E carb style intake with a TB elbow?

good question . looks to have a fair size plenum and runners . I was told it would flow "more evenly" than a VictorJr . as far as out flowing it ..no idea . or it would be interesting to find out how close it would be . it's designed for the 1500-6500 rpm range . :)

Here's the answer I got from Edelbrock when I asked if it would support 900hp and if it would be a better choice compared to a Victor jr EFI manifold .

" I'd definitely go with the XT manifold. The runners are bigger, the plenum has more volume around each runner, and all runners are equal length. There is one caveat, we made it fit stock style heads so on a head which uses the 1206 intake gasket (2.18" tall port) there is only .125" of seal material above the port. With a 2.10 tall port and corrosponding gasket you should be okay."

Is it just me , but that manifold looks way taller on that LS motor than on the SBC. I understand that the intake runner spacing is different and the SBC valve covers are taller..but still....

Im starting to consider trying this out..but it would entail lots of little changes on my car.

Dam...can you close the hood on that thing ? :D Looks cool . :)

The SBC (#7137) one measures out @ : A-9.00", B-8.20", C-14.80" . #7138 A-9.20", B-8.40", C-14.80" see A/B Measurements.

The LS1 and LS2 are higher ....see link . :)

Yeah the hood is close. The motor mounts are not welded yet I still have to lower it 1/4" , that will give me about 1/2" oil pan to cross member clearance and it will just touch the padding under the hood. Have not done much lately too cold and lazy here (not motivated). Been tinkering with another car to get it ready for a Houston meet.
