EFI boost reference line

I take it you guys are running boost reference regs and MAPs on your turbo V8 EFI stuff . where is the correct place for the source ? I seem to be getting mixed info , some say from the intake elbow , others say from the manifold . and with wastegates as well .

It shouldn't matter whether you are in the intake or the elbow. I usually get the wastegate signal from the turbo.
