With the plate having one bolt on bottom it seems that the top could leak. Has anyone had this problem.

Not yet, I used a skim coat of copper RTV on the gasket.

Full Throttle block off plate been on 8 months now.

I am using Kirbans but I have heard some guys found it leaking. I think somebody drilled an extra bolt in it.

Installed mine recently with a new gasket and blew it out in less than a mile  picked up a tube of permatex ultra black. Let it cure for 24 hours. So far so good. About fifty miles into it now

This seems to be very common. I clean the intake & plate surfaces real good and use Permatex Ultra Copper RTV. I've never had one come back leaking.

Earl posted a picture of how he fixed his--two small threaded plugs. Looked pretty good.

K, am I missing sum'n here?? Why even bother taking it off? Cosmetics? Any hp gains? :D

No HP gains per se... but they can cost HP by malfunctioning. Granted, the 'normal' way to block them off has it's own method of malfunctioning.

The intake does look a chitload better without too.

hello people; Any of you turbo heads that went with the block off plate want to sell your stock EGR clamp and nut at a reasonable price? If so let me know.
