I just installed this aluminum EGR block off plate, and the more i tighten the nut that holds it in the more it leaks. Does anyone else have this problem? For now I used the bracket for the Egr valve on top of it and it seems to help. Is this how it is supposed to be? Also what should i do with the hose that comes from the solenoid? I took the little s hose off and plugged it. Is that all I need to do? Thanks

The plates are cosmetic.. for heads that have had the EGR's filled.

So.... your using a cosmetic part for something it wasnt designed to do.

Easy way to block EGR.. RJC power plate.. dont drill the hole.

Of pull heads.. fill the egr with aluminum.. done ;)
