Are you guys running the block off plate with a stock gasket or anything?

I put mine on w/o a gasket and tightened it down. No leaks here.

What's the purpose of blocking off the egr.

helps clean up the engine, Most chip dont even use the EGR function anyway
And when you port your intake the egr passage is cut out and the hole is welded up.
Its also one less thing to leak

i used the one from cottons looks like the one in the pic above, very cool no leaks just used a bad high temp rtv and snug it up a bit should be good
