what do you guys plug the EGR port on the back of our intake with? I thought it was a 3/4 std. pipe...not metric pipe??

Yes, it is std.
Not sure of the size, but I got a std. plug and it fit.
(Never installed it on my car though to pass emission check)

have the intake out now.looks like a 3/4 pipe would fit, but but the thread pitch is too coarse on the pipe plug. where did you buy your plug??

I "borrowed" one from work.
I do not have a pitch gage to see what it is.
Can you match the threads on the plug to the EGR tube connector?

much finer thread on the tube fitting. Plan today to head over to the Lowes with tube in hand, maybe i can find something to match up.
 
Since you still have the nut

Weld the end shut. The nut thread is a Tubing thread (straight) not a NPT thread (tapered) altho a 3/4 in. NPT plug with some liquid teflon will start and tighten up. That is what I used. Best of luck.
 
i put a freeze plug in mine fits awsome and looks awsome
