egr selenoid/ switch

hey guys i am looking for an egr valve selenoid, ya know the 1 on the valve cover.

does anyone have a part number for this?
can you use an 86/87 selenoid for this?
is this a dealer part or an auto parts store item also?


anyone know what i could expect to pay for this?

John's performance carries the '84-'85 solenoid for $135. Look under sensors/delco. http://secure.johnsperformance.com/cgi-bin/store/agora.cgi. I've been trying to find out if the '84-'85 and '86-'87 are interchangeable as well. I'm converting to '86-'87 top end using the '84-'85 wiring harness. The '86-'87 does use a different type 4-plug connector than the '84-'85 for the solenoid.

Update: I went to the junkyard this morning and saw what I believe is the same solenoid ('84-'85) on an early fuel injected 2.8L V6. This is the type that has what looks like a crossfire intake on it. It was in an '86 Cutlass Cierra. It was mounted differently from the '84-'85 Buick (different bracket), but the subcomponents were the same.
