Egr&solenoid

Now that I'm using a TT chip with egr shut off do I need to remove and block off the egr valve or leave it for looks? and also what do I do with the solenoid and vacuum lines that run to it?

Lol!!! That's what I figured passing smog is a pain out here and removing the egr would make it fail. So I'm using a TT chip will having the egr on hurt performance or drive ability if egr or egr solenoid goes bad???

Only thing to worry about would be a vacuum leak from one of the hoses, and practically everyone worries about that at least once. I'd leave it there.
