After installing the new egr valve my original egr valve cover doesn't fit and sit right does anyone know who makes aftermarket ones for our cars?

Won't I still need it for smog inspections?

Being in CA, yes, will need it for emissions. Same issue with the cover on the aftermarket EGR valve here too. Didn't do anything yet but thought that three large dabs of RTV (silicone sealer) would hold it in place.

Ok so it's not just my car .... I thought about doing the same thing eventually ill come up with something to hide it because it is an eye sore when looking under the hood I'm sure there's gotta be a cover out there from a different year or car that might work ? Or someone must make it for these new egr ?

hello and what's happening; As far as I know no one makes an aftermarket EGR cover. There is chrome covers that goes over the original and that's about it. If it was me I'd forget about the cover and paint or just clean up what you have. Another thing you might want to do is buy a AC Delco valve and the cover will fit. There not cheap. I have no cover and it doesn't really bother me but I might use the cover.
have fun
