Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?

I'm getting the 32 and 45 codes off ecm. Would you agree the egr might be the problem?

Thanks

Disconnect the EGR vac line, and put your finger over the little port....with your finger still over the port Reach under the EGR valve and push the Diaphram up...if it dosen't drop down then the EGR valve is A-OK!

Have you checked the EGR solinoid? I had one go bad on my car about a year ago...If I remember it was about $100 or so..

( the EGR sol right next to the Wastegate sol on the driver side valve cover)

The computer has no way of knowing if the EGR valve itself is working or not. If it sets a code it's probably in the solenoid or wiring.

I did as you suggested Herb and the diaphram came right down. So based on what Cool84 said that does mean I have two problems to work out?

Oh, I replaced the o2 sensor and now just get the 32 code.

Actually you push up on the diaphram and while holding it you then put your finger over the port and the diaphram should stay put.

If you do need an egr valve. Most of the parts stores have them, auto zone, advance auto, etc. The one for my 84 was about $30.
They'll need to know the number off of the old one to get correct one.
