EGR

Hi All Turbo fans
I have removed the EGR tunnel from my upper plenum. Ported and polished. Now what do I do with the intake manifold. I figure to cut out EGR tunnel down to floor, do I fill in hole? I have the block off plate for EGR valve.
Am I on the right track?

What can I use to fill the egr ports on my cylinder heads? Was thinking the easiest would be block fill? I could use aluminum but not sure it can melt it properly to flow through to the exhaust runners.

I can't tig weld and I definately can't do it to aluminium. I read somewhere, I think on here but I can't find it, that folks were using engine block filler. If so, can you sand it down and will it adhere to aluminium? I'm afraid of the expansion but the Hardblok brand says it doesn't. Any thoughts?

Thread 'The Best & easiest way to block the egr....'

I was wondering if I can get some advice on the best and easiest way to block the egr. I have a few different block of plates and no matter what I can't seem to stop the egr from leaking my precious vacuum........ any idea or write-ups available?

I been trying to avoid this, but I guess it's time to weld it up ,or upgrade to new intake. I just need to know if I can pass emissions w/o it
