I'm considering an alky system soon. I would like to get the most out of it without killing my engine. I have read alot about EGT tuning and it seems to be the best way to go. My first question on EGT tunings is where does the probe go-before or after the turbo? Next is what is good "target" temp to look for. I haven't got a tester yet and am looking at several. What options or features are good to have for basic tuning. Do I need just the max temp or recording the whole run? I will be runing the stock computer. My goal is mid 11s eventually with a few more mods while still being a reliable street driven car. I also would like to have as little exposed wires and devices on my dash as possible so any mounting tips would be appreciated too.
