Electric Boost Guage?

Looking at guages for the T, trying to find one w/white face and alum trim..closest I can find is the Autometer C2...they have an elec boost guage...anyone use one? Just a map sensor or something?

Autometer's C2 and Cobalt Boost gauges are both electric. I know we've installed them before but I never took the time to look at the setup. I believe it is fairly simple. The wiring harness goes between the sending unit and the guage then you wire in for power and ground. I've seen one C2 boost gauge fry, but that was problably due to a customer's installation.

How was it as far as accuracy etc?

The one I can remember was installed on a procharged Lingenfelter Camaro SS. It was only 6psi and we didnt double check it.

I know Gino (GinoRin) is going Cobalt crazy with his GN ...but that won't be rolling for a little while longer.
