Yesterday and today were both scorchers. Arriving home last night, I noticed the electric radiator fan blowing as I pulled in and parked. Normally, everytime I shut her off, the fan turns on after a bit, and blows for a couple of minutes. This time it was already on, and now seems to have stayed on until the battery died. I put the charger on, then the fan turned on, and didn't want to shut off even after several minutes. So I unplugged the fan, and sliced my hand on something, great. The question is, where would one find the thing that controls when it turns on and off. It's an 87 gn, digital dash, bought with unknown mods. Bigger turbo and exhaust, kenne bell cai, other than that, I'm not sure what got done to it. Any help would be appreciated.

the delay relay is most likely the culprit, the big one on the driver side fender next to the other relay, close to the front of the car.

My car does the opposite. After a few minutes, the fan goes off regardless of the temperature being around 200 degrees. That relay just turns it off while key is on! sorry to jump in uninvited:redface:
