After working in an independant shop for the last 12 years and getting tired of the hours dwindling down, I got a job at Toyota. Just a couple days ago a Matrix came in with the little NOS stickers all over it and a huge blue gay dragon down the full length of both sides, blue neon lights underneath it. He had some blue brake rotors he wanted installed. Open the hood for inspection and he had one of those eBay electric turbos under the hood. It looked like an aftermarket blower motor for an underdash A/C unit. 
After looking at it for a couple minutes, I called over the tech who was working on the car and told him it was on backwards...blowing out the inlet and sucking thru the throttle body. The kid also has a nitrous bottle that is not hooked up to anything. A boost gage that goes from 18"hg to 0 and no higher. This thing has got to be an honest 19 second monster. If he hadn't been waiting for the vehicle, I would have come home and got the digital camera. Maybe tonight when the car clubs meet at Sonic, I'll be able to get some pics to post on "laugh at rice".
