Emission canister

I am in the middle of an ac and heat delete. Wanting to clean things up and make more of a track car. Will getting rid of this canister cause any problem with the ecm?

I think most folks remove em without any issues. Just add a plastic fuel filter or something on the rubber vent line coming off the sending unit.

Mine is removed with no issues. I ran the vent line into the frame rail. No fuel smell.
