Emissions Question

I just moved to Nevada and am concerned with the strict laws. I just spent a whole lot of money having Jack Cotton build up my car. I have a 3.5 THDP going to a test w/ dump, then into a 2.5 ATR exhaust. I don't really want to change it if I don't have to. Does anyone have the same setup, and is there any way around this???

I had pretty much the same setup. First time thru Nevada smog I passed with no comment from the tester. The next time, same guy, said I needed the cat. I now have a "removable" cat. Passed. Rich

I picked up a generic cat from from Stockton Muffler?? It was under 60.00. I had a spare test pipe that we cut off the flange from and welded it on the cat to match it up with the hooker exhaust system. Cats that are Buick specific are available from most of the Buick Vendors. HTH. Rich
