Just wondering if our TR's will still need emissions testing now that they are over 20 years old?

I'm feel your pain, Mark. I also wish our antique plates looked cooler...

Mine's a little older and I haven't got a notice yet
Got one year left
Last tested Dec 2006

Not here in AZ..:D ...all you need is to have your car insured as a Classic and no more emissions...

Here, if it's 1975 & newer has to pass, regardless of miles driven. 1975-1984 has to pass EVERY year, even if it has a newer drivetrain:mad: .

Maybe I should register in AZ!:D

25 years. Exempt in 2011 for an 86. One more time for me:biggrin:

Anyone know when you can claim "classic" or if it's exempt after how many years in Tennessee? I have the "cat delete" option and I'm thinking of relocating the car to this area and puke a bit at the thought of removing my elec cutout for place of a boring ol cat. thanks for the info.

In kali, we lost the rolling calendar a few years back. '75 or '76 is the last year of benefits from the rolling calendar. Stopping of the rolling calendar was a rider on the 6 year new car no smog check bill. Thought that it was federal. You guys are very fortunate. Kali also tried unsuccessfully to enact a bill that would require smog every year on cars that are 15 years and older back to the last year of the rolling calendar. They were unsuccessful only because they ran out of time to present it to the upper house. I believe that it passed the floor. Sucks

No radar detectors in Virginia either. :p

More important to me than passing the stupid test every 2 years. ;)

Haven't failed one yet, 2 cars.

Jinx'd. :(

Swapping the cat. on and off is a pain sometimes since both my tests are in the winter. :p

With a decent Cat. and EGR working somehow, it's hard to fail one even in CT on the rollers.

4 more years Mark. I have no cat so I will have to figure something out myself. Of course that only matters if the person doing the emissions test actually looks for a cat. All of the satellite facilities are linked to DMV so how the emissions reads is the only real concern.
