engine braking w/th400 rmvb trans brake

Does a reverse man valve body th400 allow engine braking? thanks joel

Years ago, I had a T-400 with an ATI rmvb and there was no engine braking in 2nd & 3rd. I remember calling ATI when I was installing the vb because there were a bunch of parts to be deleted from the trans. ATI told me I could leave them in there but they'd be non-functional, so out they came...

No, I think it has something to do with the deletion of a band or something
