Well that's funny. A Columbus guy that I don't know? Where you been?!?! Missed all our get togethers this summer. Keeps your eyes peeled for the next get together!! :D

Get ahold of Scott Simpson (Scott231 on the board here). He had Excessive Performance from Cincy do his motor. Fair price, and good work.
 
Talk to Lee Howie at Howie Automotive. He should be able to recommend a good machine shop, and he can do the R&R and tuning/setup for you.
 
I've heard Lee's really expensive. Make sure to weigh the costs.

Again I've only *heard* this and I have never met him personally. So this is not a bash on Lee.

In fact, I'd like to see Lee at one of our get togethers!
 
He may be a little high, I don't know these days. Back in '95 or '96 he put a crate motor and other upgrades in my car and the price seemed okay, and the work was excellent. Even if you don't get him to do the work, talk to him about machine shops for the engine build (and tell him I said hi, if you think of it).
 
about half dozon of up in Dayton use Dayton crank,better than fair.if you just need assembly on long block i might be able to fit it in.oh dayton crank is 937-253-8136
