i went with a fluid dampener on my vega when i had an external balanced 400 and after about 20 runs we pulled it down and the front main bearing was toast took the stuff back to the machine shop and the assembly was bad off of balance due to the fluid dampener bought a cheap cat balancer and never had another problem. i dont know if the machine shop messed up the balance the first time or what was happening but if ya think about it the balancer will not be in balance except after the rpm moves the fluid out uniformly. what rpm is that? i would stay away from the fluid dampner just my .02 cents. im sure other people love them though
